WSU football kick returner faces possible assault and burglary counts

A Washington State University football player is scheduled to have a court appearance Friday morning for potential assault and burglary charges. 20 year old Teondray Caldwell was recently arrested by Pullman Police for an alleged incident that occurred at a College Hill apartment on April 28th. Officers say Caldwell and a group of Cougar football players were denied entry into a party. That’s when Caldwell allegedly struck a man who was sitting on the porch. Charges have not been filed yet but Caldwell does have a hearing scheduled for Friday morning in Whitman County Superior Court. The Los Angeles native was the Cougar’s primary kick returner last year as a Freshman earning All-Pac 12 honorable mention.
